Jimmy Zhang is the CTO of Carbon Origins, a leader in tele-robotics that combines spatial computing with heavy machinery. An early engineer at AltspaceVR, Jimmy helped build the pioneering social VR platform from 2015 through its acquisition by Microsoft in 2017 and its transition to Microsoft Mesh in 2022. Jimmy worked on autonomous ground vehicles at Yale and the STAIR robot at Stanford under Andrew Ng.
